Top 3: Robin Stam

graphic designer

During my first visit to Museum De Lakenhal, in 2012, I wanted to get to know the museum COMPLETELY. At that time, I was working on the commission for the new corporate design, and an intense meeting was therefor important to me. Normally I'm a quick museum visitor, I race through the rooms. Now I wanted to absorb everything. Several times I've dwelled for hours, scrutinizing all the display cases. It made me focus on the details, something I still do when working on the marketing communications for the museum: posters, flyers, the website. Details are therefor leading in my top three.

present and past

To connect the past with the present is integral to Museum De Lakenhal's mission. It was also a condition in the commission for the new corporate style. I pushed myself to show this link in my design. I like the way Museum De Lakenhal makes the mission resonate in the way they work with the collection.
